Christmas 2010

Being handicapped at Christmas was really hard for me, but I tried to make the best of it. Here is a picture of the family the Sunday before Christmas. You can see my nice, large, pink, fuzzy sock over my oh-so-stylish splint.

Santa luckily arrived (by the skin of my knees) and the kids were pleased with what he brought:



I was trying to think of a way to incorporate Kate into our Christmas each year, and some very special friends surprised me with the perfect thing: this beautiful miniature tree and a hand-picked ornament by each family. I was touched beyond words or description.
