Spring Break

We ventured down to San Antonio for Spring Break again this year, and enjoyed it even more than last year. The weather was perfect and the crowds a little more manageable. The first day we went to the Zoo and it had just stopped raining, so a lot of the people had left. It was a little chilly, but perfect with a light jacket.

We made it just in time to watch them feed the hippos...

And apparently it was lunch time for the bears too.
The next day we met up with some good friends from Austin, the Fullers, and went to Six Flags. Everyone loved it (except maybe me a little bit). I was frustrated for paying full price yet all I could do was watch the Wiggles perform and push a stroller around because I had the severely debilitating condition of pregnancy. ;) They wouldn't even allow pregnant women on the train! Seriously??! These people worried about liabilities are ridiculous! It was still worth it and Nate took the kids on a lot of the rides and then when he got to go with our friends on some of the bigger rides, my sweet friend, Michele, went with the kids on the rides, while I got to watch her cute baby, Colbie. Even London got in on all the fun and we lasted the entire day until closing.

Us with the Fuller Family

Kennedy and Hannah.
Kennedy thought Hannah was pretty much as cool as Miley Cirus, and wanted to do whatever Hannah was doing. It was pretty cute and Hannah was so sweet with her, even with the 10 year age difference. :)

Michele with the kids- bless her :)

On our way back home we stopped at the outlets in San Marcos for some shopping and also drove up to met my brother who was in Austin on business and had dinner at our favorite restaurant, Chuy's. It all worked out so nicely and it was a great get-away.
