Off with a Bang

Our summer has started off with a bang! Kennedy's last day of preschool was May 21st, complete with an end of year party, sledding at Mt. Aggie. It was a blast for everyone.

The next day London and I headed for Utah to be there for my nephew's sealing and blessing. My brother and his wife adopted an adorable little boy last year and it was recently finalized. The Temple sealing was awesome, as well as the blessing, and I was so happy to be there for such a special time. Thanks to Nate for holding down the fort with the other 2 kids and for doing an AMAZING job.

London had a lot of fun playing with her cousins, especially Lily and Bryan:

This week we started swim lessons. Jackson and Kennedy were both very excited.

Jackson's excitement faded into fear and this is how he spent the first day (fortunately he's doing a lot better already):

We planted a few more trees in the front yard and back yard for some additional shade from the hot Texas sun:

And Kennedy and Nate had their first daddy-daughter date. They went to dinner and to the new movie "Up." Kennedy was on cloud nine.
