The Annual Great Hot Dog Picnic

Kennedy's preschool holds an annual Hot Dog Picnic for the whole school instead of afternoon classes so we decided to join the crowd since her class is in the afternoon. We had a lot of fun and even enjoyed our hot dog. Jackson especially enjoyed the watermelon as you can see.

This is Kennedy's favorite toy on the play ground- the bike-go-round. It was cute watching her and seeing how much fun they have on it. It looks like a favorite for most.

This is "the meadow" and is stocked with tiny fish that the kids can catch in their nets or buckets and then dump back in. It is also among "the favorites" of the play ground but they only can go in when a parent can come and help. Otherwise the gate stays locked. Jackson is still enjoying his watermelon and it is almost down to the green!

Finished off with a stroll on the painted rocks joined by Kennedy's friend, Merced, whom we invited for the fun. You may notice the lack of grass, we really do have it here in Texas, but I think it is for easy maintenance and critter control that they don't have any of it on the play ground.
